  A Rich History...

The South Nicollet-Eat Street area struck our “Condo Team” as one of the few remaining great, undiscovered neighborhoods in the city. Just south of downtown Minneapolis, the area was once home to many of the wealthy industrialists who made Minneapolis into a lumber- and flour-milling capital at the turn of the twentieth century. Their mansions, which populate Franklin, LaSalle, Blaisdell and Stevens Avenues, remain as important icons of the city’s history. Today, the neighborhood is more diverse and funky than any of those lumber or flour barons could have imagined-a fact that makes it appealing to those who seek a dynamic urban living experience.

Living blocks from “Eat Street”, Nicollet Ave, puts you within walking distance from a great selection of diverse restaurants from downtown to uptown. The Walker, Children’s Theatre, Minnesota Institute for the Arts, Orchestra Hall, The Convention Center, Target Center, the Humphrey Dome and more are walking distance for you to take in a concert, a play or a sporting event.  Minneapolis parks, walking and biking paths are all within a short distance for you to enjoy!
